It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Thomas Beattie of Muskogee, Oklahoma, born in Clarinda, Iowa, who passed away on October 9, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas Beattie and Marjorie Mae Wohlford Beattie; his brother Basil Leroy Beattie; and his niece Norma Adams. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Beattie; his children, Laura Kovacs (Kent) of Muskogee, Thomas Beattie (Bernadette) of Muskogee and John Beattie (Kimberly) of Okmulgee; his grandchildren, Zachary, Joel, Kayley, Erica, Lydia Kovacs, Declan Beattie and Stephanie Adkins (Jonathan); his great grandchild Henlee Dawn Adkins; his nephew Rhett Beattie (Rebecca); and his caregivers, Mollie Sherman, KC Alred, Tracey Szabo, Rebecca Jones and Nikki Montgomery.
