He was predeceased by: his father James Albert Offutt; his sister Lena Mae Offutt; and also Blanche Groomer. He is survived by: his wife Rosa Carter; his children, Buster Garrett of Crowder, Mechelle Taggart (Phillip) of Portland, Johnny Ironmonger (Dina) of Toledo, PJ Adams (Kevin) of Sallisaw and James Noblitt of Muskogee, Oklahoma; his brothers, Curtis Offutt (Sylvia) of Whitney and Charlie Offutt (Vivi) of Benbrook, Texas; his grandchildren, Kelly Garrett (Casey), Dakota Garrett (McKayla), Mackie Lee Garrett, Jude Taggart (Cassidy), Jake Taggart (Sabrina), Justin Ironmonger, Parker Garza, Harlie Adams, Bodie Adams, Aidan Noblitt and Parker Noblitt; and his great grandchildren, Gracelynn Garrett, Waylon Garrett, Jameson Taggart, Maycie Noel Adams and Lillie Adams. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
A memorial service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Grandview Baptist Church (3608 S Cherokee Dr, Muskogee, OK 74403).
