As we bid Herschel Ray farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Herschel Ray is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He is survived by: his wife Faye; and his children, Wayne (Margaret Luther) of Muskogee, Brenda (Danny Shiew) of Muskogee and Sandy Seals of Creston, Iowa. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
