As we bid Gilroy farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosie Keener and Oswell Keener; his siblings, Freeda, Daisy, Donald and John; his daughter Kathy; and his grandson Craig Keener.
He is survived by: his brother Jim; and his children, Gil Keener Jr. (Brenda), Jeannie Sturm (Gary), Mary Rogers (Clay) and Barbara Tiffee (Jamey). He is also survived by many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
