It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georgie Lorene Ellis Riggs Pierce of Muskogee, Oklahoma, born in Braggs, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 18, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Franklin and Jessie Kathrine Ellis (Hall); her husband Bill Pierce; and the father of her children James Riggs. She is survived by: her children, Robyn Pokrzywinski of Eureka Springs, Arkansas and Nick Riggs of Braggs, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Allyson Pokrzywinski (Peter Mech) of Canon City, Ariel Hobson of Muskogee, Beonca Hobson of Muskogee and Brecken Hobson of Muskogee; her stepchildren, Bill and Susan Pierce (family: David, Tammy Pierce); and her children, Haley (Bryan Pierce) and Adam. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
