She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Smith and Elbie Smith; her husband Pete; her siblings, Raymond Smith, Callie Gladney, Gladys Hood and Iva Jean Irish; her daughter Linda Kay Finney Drew; her grandchildren, Yolanda Drew, Eric Drew, Courtney Felder, Edward William Pitts, Kimberly Janea Pitts and Tomeria Lynn Fenner-Harris; her great grandchild Kylia Young; her son-in-law Willie Young; and her nephew Corinzo B. Smith.
She is survived by: her spouse William Edward Pitts, Jr.; her friend Sugar Do; her children, William Edward Pitts, III (Gloria), Gladys Marie Young, Patricia Yvonne Carpenter (Kent), Deborah Pitts Felder (Robert), Frances Anita Finney, Brenda Faye Fenner (Mike) and Bruce Wayne Finney; and her sister Della James (Linton). She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
