He was predeceased by: his parents, Verda Collins (Hawkins) and Efton Leonard Collins; his former wife Jane; his children, Sally and Bob; and his siblings, Morris, Dwight, Voyd Collins, Audrey Ritter and Nellie Enkey (Dean Risley).
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Collins (Blevins); his children, Efton Collins (Linda), Mike Collins (Vickie), Melody Emerson of Blackgum, OK and Jady Himel of Lafayette, LA; his grandchildren, Lisa McCool, Melissa Collins, Alec Collins, Jacob Collins, Shayla Meche, Justin Emerson, Chris Simon and Adam Simon; his great grandchildren, Bennett Grimes, Eleanor McCool, Aniston Meche and Emeri Meche; and his sister Wanda Risley of Blackgum, OK. He is also survived by several other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Agent & Mallory Martin Funeral Home (123 S Wheeler Ave, Sallisaw, OK 74955). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Blackgum Harvestime Church (451558 E0980 Rd, Vian, OK 74962).
