With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elmyra McNamee Morrison of Muskogee, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 17, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Elmyra McNamee may no longer walk beside us, their memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Elmyra McNamee touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In their absence, their spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church (902 Rutherford St, Muskogee, OK 74403). A burial will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ft. Gibson National Cemetery.
