He was predeceased by: his parents, Courtland and Eula Cole; his wife Louise; his son Donald; and his siblings, Virgil, Dale, Gene, Dan, Beulah and Marian.
He is survived by: his children, Carl, Jr. Cole (Tamra) of Ft. Worth, TX, Grady Cole (Jolene) of Park Hill, OK, Judy McDowell (Dennis) of Rogers, AR and Nancy Wilkinson (Clay) of Justin, TX.; and his grandchildren, Joshua, Isaac Cole, Amanda Pickens (Michael), Jessica Hebb (Christopher), Jennifer Dannelley (Jay), Rebecca Harris (Jeff), Elizabeth Elkinton (Cody), Rachel Brunton (James), Jonathan McDowell (Liz), Clay Wilkinson (Megan), Chad Wilkinson (Kay), Cole Wilkinson (Mary) and Carl Wilkinson. He is also survived by 32 great-grandchildren, and also had many honorary children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and several nieces.
