In loving memory of Brenda J. Schoonover of Muskogee, Oklahoma, who departed this world on January 29, 2025 at the age of 73. Brenda leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Brenda leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Brenda may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Jones (Grace) and Eula Conway (Harold); her sisters-in-law, Leslie Jones and Donna Barnett; her nephew Todd Jones; and her daughter Regina Pratt.
She is survived by: her brothers, Jim Jones of Rolla, Bill Barnett of Ballwin and Bobby Barnett (Tammi) of Republic, Missouri; her daughter Penny Mackey (Dusty) of Muskogee; and her grandchildren, Darren Pratt (Lindsy) of Muskogee, Kyler Mackey (Sydni) of Muskogee and Kalei Mackey of Muskogee. She is also survived by other family members and many friends.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oktaha Cemetery.
