He was predeceased by: his parents, Gussie Shadell (Jackson) and Luther Melvin Shadell; his daughters, Dewana Stanley and Deanne Shadell; and his sisters, Audra Griffin and Opal Wright.
He is survived by: his wife Reba Jo Shadell (Childers); his children, Debra Fischer of North Carolina and Doug Shadell; his aunts, Grace Lee and Sue Brunk; his uncle Dub Jackson; his niece Barbara Tucker; his cousin Connie Brunk; and his pets, Cowboy and Kammarie. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.
