She is survived by: her sister Barbara Morris; her nieces and nephews, Monica Jan Thames, Robert Barton Cleveland, Thomas Scott Cleveland and Bradley Stephen Cleveland; her former husband Robert Virgil Cleveland; and her husband Leon Bates. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
