He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Travis James and Letrice Martha Phy (Bouggous); his daughters, Kathy Don Phy of Buffalo and Mary Donnita Gilbert (Phy) of Elk City; his grandchildren, Delaine Shea Gilbert of Elk City and Jolea Kaite Gilbert of Elk City; his sister Joy Phy (Ralph Bufkin) of Mountain View; his son Ed Pointer of Oklahoma City; his niece Nora Jo Welch (Kent) of Hobart; his nephew Barry Bessinger (Dara) of Watonga; and his wife Nancy Sherle (Mary Kathrine Fuch). He was also cherished by his parents, and 1 sister.
