It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laverne Dempsey (Mountain Park, Oklahoma), born in Seymour, Texas, who passed away on June 20, 2019, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sybil Verna Bates (Massie) and Dalton Bates; and her sister Debora Bates. She is survived by: her husband Henry Dempsey of Mountain Park, Oklahoma; her children, Lisa Pruett (Brent) of Snyder, Julie Schulz (Rod) of Canton and Daniel Dempsey (Vanessa) of Snyder, Oklahoma; her sisters, Treva Beason (Jimmie) of Snyder, Carolyn West (Jerry) of Lawton, Glenda Holtke (Greg) of Marlow and Darla McKinney (Jeff) of Manitou, Oklahoma; and her grandchildren, Leah Davis (Garrett), Brentlee Pruett, Bethanee Pruett, Spencer Pruett, Tyler Schulz, Emily Brannon, Sam Brannon, Morgan Dempsey and Amelia Dempsey. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
