She was predeceased by: her parents, Arietta Bernice Doak and Perry Hamilton Doak; her siblings, Wayne Doak (Vonda), Patricia Norton and Georgia'Jodie'Kirby; her brother-in-law Rodney Mustard; her nephew Kenny Short; and her niece Lona Gordon.

She is survived by: her husband Dale Ray Pinkston of Glencoe; her siblings, Janet Lawver (Stan) of Neb, Blanche Mustard of Alva, Okla. and Ed Doak (Francis) of Alva; her son Rodger Short (Kathie) of Glencoe; and her son-in-law James Gordon (Okla) of Stillwater. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, & one great-great grandchild.
