He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvie Watters and Mary Lou Watters (Tarpley); his wife Beverley Reich; his daughter Tina Renay Watters; and his siblings, Mary Francis Lyons, Rena Ruth Osburn and Alvie Watters (Buddy).
He is survived by: his children, Regina Hilger, Terri Treat (Brad) and Michael Watters; his grandchildren, Heath Hilger, Skylar Watters, Macy Treat, Hunter Hilger (Raylynn), Nathan Watters, Austin Watters and Haven Hilger; and his siblings, Jimmy Watters (Pauletta), Chock Watters (Barbara) and Rickey Watters (Margaret). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
