With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Joe Johnston (Morris, Oklahoma), born in Hamilton, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 10, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Burton Johnston, Jr. and Joyce Violet Johnston Beck (Watts); his sister Donna; his brother-in-law Frank Thomason; and his cousin Stevie Gene.

He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Diane Johnston (Surber); his sons, Joshua (Jennifer Johnston) and Jacob Johnston; his sisters, Diane Storm (Dennis) and Lisa Johnson; and his grandchildren, Erika, Michael, Ryder and Kiera.
