He was predeceased by: his father John Dickey; his stepfather Jacob Stroud; and his brother Paul Dickey. He is survived by: his mother Norma Dickey (Robertson); his wife Nita Dickey; his children, Stacy Dickey and Dr. Trey Starnes; his stepdaughters, Theresa Martin (Randy) and Christina Claypool (Darrell); his siblings, David Dickey and Donna Garske; his great grandchild Grant Fix; his son Morgan Fix Kerr; his grandchildren, Michael, Magnolia, Neil and Jonathan Claypool; and also Ember. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
