She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard A. McDowell and Lola I. Rhoades McDowell (Hutson); her son Tommy Edgar Rice; her husband Arthur Edgar "Ed" Rice; and her sister Alice Frances Godfrey-Rainwater (Rhoades).
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Amanda Rice of McAlester and Jennifer Kendrick (Jesse) of McAlester; her great grandchildren, Maggie Worley of Kiowa, Emma Mills of McAlester, Nolan Rice of McAlester and Tommy Worley; and her nephew Raymond Godfrey. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
