She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Marjorie Furlong and Wilbur Furlong; her husband Barney Tower; her children, Mike, Pat, Sheila and Bill; her sister Susie Ormond of Buffalo; her children, Robyn Tower of Norman, Cindy Tower of Midland, Buck Hill of Norman, Irene Tower of Norman and Liz Tower of Dallas; her grandchildren, Jon Tower, Matthew (Kari Tower), Elizabeth (Andy Hale), Luke Tower, Kylie (Jacob Hubbard), Peter Tower (Ruth Shih), Mark Tower, Kristen Hill, Bekah Tower, Katie Tower and Stephen Tower; and her great grandchildren, Katherine, Caroline, Kai, Brooks and Kason Tower. She was also cherished by friends in Tulsa, who were traveling companions and lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family would suggest two of Maureen's favorite charities, Habitat for Humanity and Doctors Without Borders, for memorial gifts.
