With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John C. Hunt of Mooreland, Oklahoma, born in Lincolnville, Kansas, who passed away on May 5, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clem and Una Jane Hunt; his wife Betty Elwood; his siblings, Charles, Ed, Tim Hunt, Dorothy DeGeer, Betty Hubbard, Jo and Kitty Hunt; and his daughter-in-law Linda Jo Elwood.
He is survived by: his children, Max, Keith and Donna; his grandchildren, Brandon Elwood (Shawna), Bryan Elwood (Amy), Ashley Herrman (Eddie), Derek Elwood (Brandi) and Michael Crump (Haylee); his great grandchild Kylee Clyden (Jade); his grandchildren, Caton Elwood, Trevor, Audrey Elwood, Amelia, Landon, Dalton Herrman, Darwin, Eden and Tuck Elwood; his great great grandchild Rowyn Clyden; his brothers, Bob Hunt (Cathy) and Nick Hunt (Judy); and his sisters-in-law, Dottie Hunt, Ruth McKowan and Shirley Grunewald. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in John's name to the Mooreland First United Methodist Church with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
