He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Thornton and Minnie Leigh Thornton; his grandson Daniel Flores; and his siblings, Ramona Lovell, Melvina Ford, Lorafay Curry and Lawson Thonton.
He is survived by : his daughters, Lanita Thornton (Octaviano Flores) and Leigh Ann Bauer (Jim); his niece Louise McAlister (Gerald); his grandchildren, Michael Myers, Sean Flores (Mollie), Natasha Flores (Ben Putnam), Alejandro Flores, Javier Flores, Nikki Thornton, Krista Rosedahl (Nick) and Andrew Gallo; and his sister Valys Bourlon. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
