He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Henry and Tena Croisant Rutledge; his former wife Helen Fithen of Woodward; and his wife Fern. He is survived by: his brother Albert of Stillwater; and his children, Kristena of Stillwater and John of Issaquah, WA. He is also survived by his grandson, and several great-grandchildren.
Lee was also employed by the National Science Foundation in Washington, DC while taking a sabbatical year from OSU.
