He was predeceased by : his parents, Loris Earl and Irene Ellen Roedell (DeBock); his siblings, Don, Dean Roedell and Dixie Matthews; his wives, Janis and Agnes; and his son Jerry Don Roedell.

He is survived by : his daughters, Pamela James (John) and Teresa Hale; and his stepchildren, Max, Karen Morris, Bill, Sandra Morris, Bob, Judy Morris and Lois Marie Morris. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; ten step-grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
