He was predeceased by: his parents, Verne McFarland and Nina McFarland (Garten); his son Billy; his wife Betty Coleman; his siblings, Vernon "Bud" McFarland, Altha May Cleveland of Kirkland, Darlene Rittenhouse of Midland and Bennita Eoff of Arvada; and his son-in-law Bob Meigs of Seiling.
He is survived by: his children, Francis McFarland of Mooreland, Roger McFarland of Mooreland, Verne McFarland of Kirkland, Gail McFarland of Perkins and Lynn Meigs of Seiling; his grandchildren, Alan Meigs (Brandie) of El Reno, Karl Meigs (Candy) of Weatherford and Rikki Rene of Stillwater; and his great grandchildren, Kyleigh, Kelci Beurschmitt, Alexyss, Gabriel Martinez, Lizben, Reese Meigs and Reed Meigs. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
