He was predeceased by: his father John Robert Steger; and his brother J. R. "Rick" Steger. He is survived by: his mother Phyllis Marie Steger; his daughters, Shayna D. Steger, Sierah C. Steger and Shiloh T. Steger; the parent of his children Shelley Harwell Steger; his siblings, Mark Steger of Moore and Brenda Neundorf of Edmond; and his granddaughter Londyn Steger-Cavin.
