He was predeceased by: his parents, E. J. Hood and Ola Mae Hood; and his wife Marie. He is survived by: his nieces, Joanna George of Oklahoma City and Carol Clark of Oklahoma City; his sons, David John Hood of Edmond and Keith Michael Hood of Ohio; his grandchildren, Emily, Shelby, Kaylee, Brittany Rose and Waylon Rhett; and his close friend Darleene Kibler. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John M. Ireland & Son Funeral Home & Chapel (120 S Broadway Ave, Moore, OK 73160). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Lynlee Mae Chapel (507 E Main St, Moore, OK 73160).
