He was predeceased by: his parents, E. J. Hood and Ola Mae Hood; and his wife Marie. He is survived by: his nieces, Joanna George of Oklahoma City and Carol Clark of Oklahoma City; his sons, David John Hood of Edmond and Keith Michael Hood of Ohio; his grandchildren, Emily, Shelby, Kaylee, Brittany Rose and Waylon Rhett; and his close friend Darleene Kibler. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
