He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester "Bud" Byers and Bessie Byers (Howard); and his brother Jerry Byers. He is survived by: his wife Denice Holman; his children, Charlie (Bre Byers) of McCloud, Elisabeth (Josh Jay) of Newalla, Jesse Byers of Moore, Tim (Katie Byers) of Moore, Leeman Byers of Moore and Sarah Byers of Moore; his grandchildren, Mitchel Byers, Adam Byers, Hazel Byers, Jasper Lee Byers, Chloe Byers, William Jay and Emma Byers; and his siblings, Dean Byers of Olathe, CO, Larry (Carol) of Austin, CO and Tammy (David Nichols) of Wichita, KS. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Church of the Firstborn (710 NE 27th St, Moore, OK 73160). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Parkland Cemetery.
