He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmon McCreight and Winnie McCreight; his daughter Tammy McCreight Bridges; his siblings, Jennie Short and Kenneth; his nephew Eugene George McCreight; his grandson Jaydon; his stepdaughter Kristie Reed; and his daughter-in-law Carol McCreight.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia McCreight; and his sons, James McCreight (Rhonda), Robert McCreight (Carol), Mark Cooksey and John Grounds. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
