He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Adelbert Swift and Eva K. Swift (Snyder); his wife Donna Swift (Murphree); and his siblings, Evelyn Taylor, Ramona Pesoch, Albert Swift and Jacqueline Clark.

He is survived by: his children, Don Swift (Tracy), Darla Richardson (Glenn), Delta Butler (David) and Damon Swift (Heather); and his siblings, Kaye Baxter, Milton Swift and Dewayne Swift. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and a host of other loving family members and friends.
