He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Edward Elkins and Flary Mae Elkins (Wood); and his daughter Sharon Elkins. He is survived by: his wife Lois Elkins; his son David Elkins (Barbara); his grandchildren, Herb, Tim Graessle, David Elkins, Jeremy, Justin and Lacy Elkins; and his sister Faye Kennedy (Mark). He is also survived by great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the John M. Ireland & Son Funeral Home & Chapel (120 S Broadway Ave, Moore, OK 73160). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Erin Springs Cemetery.
