He is survived by: his brother Howard Brooks; his sons, Dr. David Lindon Brooks (Sue) and Ernest Love Brooks, III (Sheila); his grandchildren, Dr. Jonathan Brooks (Ashley), Jennifer Lane (Chris), Julie Zeijlmaker (Joris), Andrew Farnam (Hillary) and Robert Farnam (Christy); and his great grandchildren, Isabella Strom, Lindon Brooks, Madelyne Brooks, Beckett Love Brooks, Pelham Lane, Kemper Lane, Mosby Lane, Weston Farnam, Owen Farnam and Lakota Farnam.
