He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert R. Whitis and Beulah Modenia Whitis (Bolding); and his siblings, Elbert Dean Whitis, Juanita Bennett, Wanda Bennett and Carolyn Sue Williamson.
He is survived by: his wife Lillie Mae Whitis of Norman; and his sisters, Pat Jones (David Lee) of Norman and Dorris Long (Willie) of Norman.
