She was predeceased by: her parents, Maxie Wharton and Sadie Wharton (Holder); her husband Eldon Billips; her sister Marie; and her siblings-in-law, Cecil Sawyers and Shirley Wharton.
She is survived by: her children, Melinda Nicholson (Mike) of Moore, Jeffery Carter (Kim) of Moore, Russell Carter (LaVonda) of Lincoln and Teresa Stinemetz (Eric) of Pace, Florida.; and her brothers, Herbert Wharton of Lane and Dewene Wharton (Reta) of Valliant. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, and nephews.
