He was predeceased by: his stepfather John McKasson; and his nephew Hayden Sisk. He is survived by: his parents, David Eugene Gary (Terrie) and Vickie Sue McKasson (Harper); his wife Leah; his children, Michaela Gary and Irelyn Gary; his siblings, Chrystal Sisk (Austin), Matthew Gary (Lauren), Dennis Gary and Wendi Morse; and his pet Bruiser. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, extended military family, friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Andy's name can be directed to the Wounded Warrior Project.
