It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond D. Burgess of Monkey Island, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 17, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Henry and Mary Christine Burgess. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Howard-Burgess; his siblings, Wayne (Donna) of Elk Grove, CA, Nancy Crossland of Cleveland, OK and Connie (Chris King) of Hominy, OK.; his daughters, Kayla Mann (Steve) of Grove, OK., Christie Burgess of Edmond, OK. and Merideth Pollard (Greg) of Springfield; and his grandchildren, Nettie Jo, Jessica, Raegan, Jarrod and Andrea. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, and many friends.
