He was predeceased by: his parents, Vera Fern Thornton (Dickson) and John Thornton; and his wife Patricia Thornton. He is survived by: his sons, Don Thornton (DeAnne) and Bill Thornton (Nancy Noble); his grandsons, Jeremy Rogers, Ryan Rockford and Joseph Thornton; and his great grandchildren, Kimber Thornton, Brennan Stephens and Declan Rogers. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
