He was predeceased by: his parents, Valton Clay "Charlie" and Marjorie Maureen Hurley; and his granddaughter Emily Nicole Hurley. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Ann Batty; his children, Scott Hurley (Nora) and Alisa Hurley (Jim Ferguson); his granddaughters, Andrea Cottle (Cade), Katie Ferguson (Blair Corbin) and Abby Ferguson; his great grandchildren, Cadence and Cree Cottle; and his siblings, Alvin "Hoot" Hurley (Martha) and Peggy Boswell (Steve).
