She was predeceased by: her parents, John Jerome Derrick and Mabel Eldene Clayton Derrick; her spouse Joe Tom "J. T." Rhea; her son J. W. Rhea (Nell, Tom Rhea); her grandson Jason Klemm; and her stepdaughter Christine Wright.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Russell Rhea (Denise, Deidra Klemm), Dylan Rhea (Briana, Autumn Carpenter), Tammy Jo Wright-Miller and Ginger Wright-McKinney; her niece Sue Sanders; and her daughter-in-law Carolyn Rhea. She is also survived by great great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
