It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Jane Whittington of Milburn, Oklahoma, born in Durant, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 28, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Perkins and Selma Perkins; her husband Rodger Whittington; her daughter Melissa Bird (Missy); her grandson Tanner Bird; and her brothers, Arnold Perkins, Alvie Perkins, Melvin Perkins (Duck) and Orba Gene Perkins.
She is survived by: her son Rodger Wade Whittington; her grandsons, Canyon Wade Whittington and John Rodger Bird; her great grandchildren, Ryder Dale Whittington and Brooklyn Bird; her sisters, Clarice LaFevers and Carolyn Paris; and her siblings-in-law, Larry Paris and Mickie Perkins. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, in laws and friends.
