He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clifford and Melba May Ross; his son William Alan Ross; and his siblings, Donald Ross, David Ross and Shirley Parker.

He is survived by: his former wife Janice Eldridge; his children, Kathy Lynn Ross-Smith and David Charles Ross; his wife Susan; his son Scott; and his sisters, Lois Rodriquez and Helen Shipley of California. He is also survived by 2 children, 1 stepson, 8 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
