Sylvia Bernal Obituary

Sylvia Bernal, 73, of Midwest City, OK passed away peacefully on August 26, 2021 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Sylvia was born in Cotulla, TX on April 4, 1948 to Antonio Bernal & Christina Perez. Sylvia enjoyed traveling to visit family and loved spending time with her kids & grandchildren. She loved watching her Spanish soap operas, game shows and loved listening to music. She will be missed by many.

Sylvia is survived by her children, Norma Licon of Altus, OK; Lourdes Ocampo of McLoud, OK; Olga Landeros of Lawton, OK; Elsa Sandoval of Ft. Worth, TX, Melissa Benitez of Ft. Worth, TX, Sylvia Martinez of Sentinal, OK; Maria Olmedo of Sedalia, MO; Luis Flores III of Ft. Worth, TX; Juan Flores of Midwest City, OK; Elisa Castor of Altus, OK; along with 4 brothers Guillermo Bernal, Ramon Bernal, Marcial Bernal, Hilario Bernal; 3 sisters Yolanda Bernal, Maria Amador, Eva Escalera; and numerous grandchildren & family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Antonio Bernal and Christina Perez, 2 brothers Antonio Bernal Jr. and Celestion Bernal; her daughters Benita Flores and Elva Lopez.
