He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Pettigrew and Ida Clark Pettigrew; and his brothers, Bob and Gene Pettigrew. He is survived by: his children, Paula Jo Payne (Pettigrew) and Neil Arnold Pettigrew; his wife Eva Jo Pettigrew; his granddaughters, Laura Pettigrew of Chesapeake, Virginia and Emily Jo Pettigrew of Seattle, Washington.; his siblings, Ida Lou Pettigrew of Fort Worth and George Pettigrew of Midwest City; and his nieces, Eva Rea Fincher (Steve), Christi Lewis (John), Little Rock and Ellen Harris (Steve).
