She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Spears and Florence Spears (Joiner); her husband Arthur D. Sampson; her son Arthur D. Jr.; her siblings, Gladys, Norman, Lela, Talmadge, Herman, Mary, Clara, Elmer, Katheryn and Guy Thomas; and her son-in-law David Climer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Connie (Gary) and Rebecca; her grandson Stephen (Tamara); and her great grandchild Samantha (Jordan). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
