It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lavon Ruth Seymour (Midwest City, Oklahoma), born in Savanna, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 29, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Ronnie; her parents, Etta Mae and Brasfield; her siblings, Owida, Troy and Dale (Bob Seymour); and her former husband Edsell Ford Scott.

She is survived by: her son Randy Scott; her grandchildren, Dawn, Daphne, Jennifer, Lauran, Meredith and Bethany; her great grandchildren, Allison, Kayla, Erin, Dacia, Trystan, Georgia, Edson and Adalese; and her great great grandchildren, Adysyn and Brooklyn. She is also survived by relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to organizations supporting causes close to Lavon's heart: Wounded Warriors, Gideons International, and Country Roads Animal Rescue.
