He was predeceased by : his parents, Allen H. Goodrum and Ida Goodrum (Price); and his brother Richard Allen Goodrum. He is survived by : his wife Shirley Upchurch Goodrum of Huntsville, Texas; his children, Shane Goodrum (Debra) of Chandler, OK and Dell Marie Kemper (Danny Ray) of Centerville, Texas; and his grandchildren, Dustin Keith Goodrum (Brenda), Kelsey Finto (Tommy), Lucas Finto (Leah), Nick Finto (Hannah) and Heath Kemper (Melissa). He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, and numerous other nieces, nephews, extended family and loving friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, July 6th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Madisonville Funeral Home (1511 E Main St, Madisonville, TX 77864). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, July 6th 2024 at the Bedias Baptist Cemetery (30. 77248215,-95. 94250917).
