He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Evans and Leona Evans; his son Kenneth "Ricky" Richard Evans; and his siblings, Bobby Evans and Ellen Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Carla Evans; his parents-in-law, Carl Henson and Evelyn Henson; his children, R. Jay Swagerty (Wendy), Craig McNett (Bethany), Kendra Villarreal (Steve), Kerri Perkins (Royce), Tiffany Smith (Asa Parnell) and Kandice Salada (Andrew); and his siblings, Willie Evans, Nancy DelMonte, Darla Dover and Maxine Cordsen. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, along with a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
