She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Allen and Bessie Allen (Walker); and her sisters, Naomi Brittain, Jane Johns and Janet Westmoreland.
She is survived by: her husband Don Swanson; her brother David Allen; her children, Cindy Rogers (Daryl Rogers), Sherri Jones (Darryl Jones) and Arnie Swanson (Lori Swanson); her grandchildren, Leslie Swanson (Sam Rothblum), Lindsey Brumley (Brandon Brumley), Brittany Wilson, Brett Swanson, Shelby Steffenhagen (Cole Steffenhagen) and Taylor Jones; her great grandchildren, Sophia Giron, Caleb Brumley and Audrey Brumley; her stepgrandsons, Kyle Jones (Kate Jones), Chris Rogers (Tammi Rogers) and Matt Rogers; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Ramsey Jones, Kenadie, Jaxson, Kadence, Abi, Mikaylee Rogers, Colton Johnson and Hayden Nguyen. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
