He is survived by: his son Jody; his wife Maybell Bailey; his children, Joseph W Bailey, Michael D Bailey (Terri Bailey) and Annie Bailey Pettigrew (Matt Pettigrew); his grandchildren, Toni Shepard (Jeff Shepard), Candace Davis (Nick Davis), Chance Bailey, Sarai Bailey, Katie Bailey, Amanda Alferos (Lorenzo Alferos), John Bailey Pettigrew (Faith Pettigrew), Emelia Pettigrew and Isabelle Pettigrew; his great grandchildren, Blake Shepard, Levi Davis, Joey Davis, Abbigale Davis, Cadence Bailey, Evelyne Jane Alferos and Nora Ann Ray; and his siblings, Colleen Richards, Margie Swarb, Ann Fortner and Jerry Bailey.
