It is with great sadness that we announce the death of JoAnn (Francis) Vinyard (Midwest City, Oklahoma), born in Pampa, Texas, who passed away on April 16, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Gibbins and Evelyn Horton Gibbins; her husband Bruce A. Vinyard; her sister Polly Smith; her brother-in-law Gene Smith; her in-laws, Lester and Helen Vinyard; her sister Connie; and her brothers-in-law, Fred Gardner and Gilbert Maxey.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Allen Vinyard (April Vinyard) and Karla Annette Vinyard; her granddaughters, Chelsea Briggs, Cortnea Locke (Marcus Locke), Nicole Godwin and Lindsey Godwin-Wright; her aunts, Bobbie Combs and Alma Wade; and her great grandchildren, Dallis Locke, Conner Cline, BentLee Locke, Tally Arnold and Jaxton Glover.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Barnes Friederich Funeral Home (1820 S Douglas Blvd, Midwest City, OK 73130). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Barnes Friederich Funeral Home Chapel (1820 S Douglas Blvd, Midwest City, OK 73130).
